Ruby Seresin is a filmmaker, coder, and researcher.
She has directed numerous branded documentary films that reflect her passion for sports, the outdoors, and the transformative effect these have on mind and body. Currently Ruby is working on her first essay film, which explores non-human sensory perception alongside the human experience, focusing on the concept of umwelt.
She is interested in shifts in perspective brought about by physical activity, immersion in nature, meditation, and discomfort, and her coding work also showcases these themes. Most recently, she co-designed and developed DIPP, a digital platform created for University College London to support safe, prepared engagement with psychedelics for therapeutic benefit in clinical trials.
She studied undergraduate Mathematics and Philosophy at the University of Oxford and is currently completing an MSc in Computer Science at the University of Bath.
